Turn on the compute node or nodes with the power button on the control panel
on the right front side of the unit or units.
High availability (HA) appliance compute node and storage shelf service
considerations
Attention:
When you turn on the storage shelves and compute nodes after
completing the service, turn on the primary compute node first before you turn
on the secondary compute node.
Important:
Check with the customer to determine which compute node is
configured as the primary compute node, and which is configured as the
secondary compute node. Do this before turning on the compute nodes and
storage shelves.

Configuring the IPMI port from the NetBackup
Appliance Shell Menu
This section explains how to configure IPMI from the NetBackup Appliance Shell
Menu.
If you have more than one node in your system you must configure each node’s
IPMI port individually.
Before starting the IPMI configuration, obtain the following information for the
appliance for which you want to configure the IPMI:
IP address for the remote management port so that the default static IP
address of the remote management port can be changed.
IP address
Enable connectivity between your network computer and the remote
management port.
Subnet mask
Enable connectivity between your network computer and the remote
management port.
Gateway IP
address
The defaults for the remote management port are:
