Relay Will Not Change
State
Setup problem - relay is not
enabled.
Verify relay is enabled in the GUI.
Are relays setup on TLS-450PLUS?
Connector is not pushed all the way
in.
Verify the relay plug is pushed all the way into the
connector (Item 4 in Figure 2-5 on page 2-5). Verify
each of the wires is correctly seated in the plug’s ter-
minal clamps. If the clamps are not opened all the
way when inserting the wires into the plug, the wires
can be inserted behind the clamps preventing
proper contact:
Incorrect input wiring from external
device.
Verify external wiring into the relay input connector.
Fuse missing or blown.
Install or replace fuse(s) with the correct type as
indicated in Section 3.
AC input board bad.
Replace AC input board.
Power supply board bad.
Replace Power supply board.
CPU board bad.
Replace CPU board.
Comm backplane board bad.
Replace Comm backplane board.
External Input Does
Not Recognize Exter-
nal Contact Closure
Setup problem - external input is
not enabled.
Verify external input is enabled in the GUI.
Verify proper alarm setup for relay trigger in the GUI.
Incorrect external wiring to external
input connector.
Verify the external input plug is pushed all the way
into the connector on the I/O module. Verify each of
the wires is correctly seated in the plug’s terminal
clamps. If the clamps are not opened all the way
when inserting the wires into the plug, the wires can
be inserted behind the clamps preventing proper
contact:
I/O module bad.
Replace I/O module.
CPU board bad.
Replace CPU board.
