TLS-450PLUS Troubleshooting Guide
IFSF Communication
Not Working - (cont’d.)
Node ID Setting Incorrect
Get the correct Node ID setting from the site’s LON
administrator and verify that the correct Node ID has
been entered:
1. Shut off power to the console.
2. Remove the two T15 Torx screws securing the left
door of the console (item 2 in Figure 2-1 on
page 2-1) and open the left door.
3. Locate the Node ID and Termination DIP switches
on the IFSF LON module (comm slots 1,2, or 3):
4. The Termination DIP switches are set in the NO
TERMINATION or all the way to the right in the
image above).
5. The Node ID DIP switches are set to a value sup-
plied by the Site IFSF LON Administrator. LON
Node Address is subnet 9, Node X, where X is
selected using DIP switches 1-4 using the legend
below:
6. Close the console door and reapply power.
7. IFSF communication still not working - go to next
cause.
Intermittent communication
Verify Termination DIP switches are set for No Ter-
mination. Follow the procedure in cause above to
access Termination DIP switches and verify both
DIP switches are all the way to the right (No Termi-
nation). Verify Termination in site’s Primary Junction
Box. IFSF communication still not working - go to
next cause.
