"Could Not Validate
IButton” Displays On
GUI
Features iButton is not seated prop-
erly in its holder.
Check that iButton (Item 12 in Figure 2-11 on
page 2-10) on the CPU board is installed correctly
as shown below:
With flange end up, slide the iButton under the clip
until it snaps securely into the holder.
Features iButton is not pro-
grammed.
Replace iButton with one that has been pro-
grammed with the required features.
Bad Cyclic Redundancy (CRC)
check sum error.
Replace CPU board.
Cannot Save Setup

SD Card in write protect mode.
Remove the SD Card (item 10 in Figure 2-11 on
page 2-10) by pushing in on the Card then quickly
releasing it letting it spring free of its enclosure’s
latch so you can slide it out. While you have the
Card out, check the position of the write protect slide
on the side of the Card, making sure it is in the posi-
tion shown below and then reinsert it in its enclosure
until it clicks into the enclosure’s latch.
