ACON Ultra Maintenance
B.1
ACON Ultra
Camera Maintenance
The
ACON Ultra
camera needs little or no maintenance with the exception of periodically
cleaning the camera lens. A small amount of dust will not affect the actual operation of the
system. However, oil or finger prints may result in unwanted effects. In the event the lens
requires cleaning, follow the procedure below.
1. Use a lens cleaning solution with a soft tissue and starting in the center of the lens,
CAREFULLY and GENTLY work towards the outer edge of the lens until the lens is cleaned.
B.2
Server Maintenance
Like the
ACON Ultra
camera, the server requires minimum maintenance. The only
maintenance required is to ensure that the filter employed at the front of the PC is periodically
checked and cleaned as required. In the event the filter does require cleaning, perform the
following steps and refer to Figure B-1.
1. The filter media for the PC is located directly behind the front panel air vents.
2. On the front of the server (PC) using the key, open the front access door where the CD-
ROM, Floppy Drive, etc. are located.
3. On the left side of the access opening, gently pull the tab labeled “
OPEN-PULL
” towards you
and slide the filter media out.
4. The filter may be cleaned by either shaking or blowing the debris out or in severe cases; the
filter media may be washed.
CAUTION:
If the filter is washed, allow to dry fully before reinstalling.
5. Reinstall the filter media and close/lock the front access door.
