Connectivity
Problems
Solution
When trying to
start or receive
an ISDN call,
the connection
fails.
1. Verify that the ISDN line(s) are connected and not loose.
2. In the
Advanced Settings
>
Telephony
>
Phone Numbers
dialog box, check that the ISDN numbers entered match
the connected line(s).
When trying to
start or receive
a LAN call, the
connection
fails.
1. Verify that the LAN cable is connected and not loose.
2. Verify that the TCP/IP settings (Windows
Control
Panel
>
Network
>
Configuration
tab) are correct.
When trying to
start or receive
a call through
the
Gatekeeper,
the connection
fails.
1. Verify that the Gatekeeper IP Address is entered
correctly in the
Gatekeeper Address
box of the
Advanced Settings
>
Communication
>
LAN
dialog box.
2. Verify that your system’s E.164 code or alias name is
entered correctly in the
User Alias
box of the
Advanced
Settings
>
Communication
>
LAN
dialog box.
