Connecting a TV Monitor (Dual Monitor Mode)
Dual Monitor mode comprises one SVGA monitor (for connection instructions, see
“Connecting the SVGA Monitor” earlier in this section) and one TV monitor.

To connect a TV monitor to the MediaConnect 9000 system in Dual
Monitor mode

Depending on whether the TV monitor supports S-Video (mini-DIN
connector) or Composite (RCA), connect the supplied TV cable between
the applicable ports.
If the TV monitor uses:
CAUTION
Make sure that the computer and the TV monitor are turned
off.
If the TV monitor supports both of these types, we recommend that you use
the S-Video connection because it provides higher quality video.

Connect the TV cable between the
TV’s Video In connector and the
videoconferencing card’s
MONITOR
connector.
Connect the TV cable between the
TV’s Video In connector and the
videoconferencing card’s
