Connecting Two TV Monitors in Triple Monitor Mode
Connecting the Main PTZ Camera

To connect the main Pan/Tilt/Zoom camera to the MediaConnect 9000
computer unit
1. Connect the supplied S-Video + Camera Control harness as follows: the
VIDTOP
connector on the videoconferencing card and the
S VIDEO
connector on the camera.
2. Connect the camera control cable between the camera’s
VISCA IN
connector on the camera and the
COM1
serial port on the rear panel of the
MediaConnect 9000
computer unit (see the figure on page 2-3).
3. Place the camera at the vantage point you want.
4. Connect the power cable between the power supply and the camera’s
DC IN connector.
In Triple Monitor mode, one TV monitor displays the local view and the
other TV monitor displays the remote view. You may switch this function
between the monitors by using the Video Window’s Select Camera function.
CAUTION
Make sure that the computer and the camera are turned off.
