Connecting the Wireless Keyboard
1. Locate the box containing the Wireless Keyboard and take out the
following two items:
— Infrared (IR) Receiver
— Wireless Keyboard
2. Feed the cables from the IR receiver through the small hole at the rear of
the IR receiver cut-out on the rollabout cabinet. Push the receiver gently
into position.
If you do not have the rollabout cabinet, place the IR receiver on top of
your SVGA monitor.
3. Connect the two cables to the mouse port and the KYBD mini-DIN PS/2
connector on the computer’s rear panel. Place the Wireless Keyboard on
your conference table, preferably at an operating distance of no more than
6 meters away from the keyboard receiver.
Connecting the SVGA Monitor

To connect the SVGA monitor to the MediaConnect 9000 system

Connect the supplied SVGA cable between the VGA output on the rear of
the MediaConnect 9000 computer and the VGA input on the rear of the
supplied 29" SVGA Monitor (supplied only with
MediaConnect 9000Pro).
CAUTION
Make sure that the computer is turned off.
If a Wireless Keyboard, which use a serial mouse control instead of PS/2
control, is supplied, the mouse control connection will be a 9-way D-type
connector connected to the
COM2
port on the rear of the
MediaConnect 9000 computer unit.
CAUTION
Make sure that the computer and the SVGA monitor are turned
off.
