Adding New Phone Book Entries
It is more efficient to store frequently repeated destinations in the Phone Book.

To create a new Phone Book entry
1. Press <Dial>. The Phone Book opens.
4. Enter the entry’s IP Address, DNS Name, Station Name or User Number
(see
).
2. Press the red
NEW
SoftKey. The New Entry dialog box opens.
3. Enter a
name
for this entry (to open the on-screen keyboard, press the
yellow
KEYBOARD
). The
name must begin with a letter; it cannot begin with a number or symbol.
The DNS name is case-sensitive. For example, if the host name of the station
you want to call is HEAD_OFFICE, enter it in all caps, including the
underscore: HEAD_OFFICE.vcon.com
