3. If applicable, enter the
Password
defined in the HD3000’s Security
settings (see
“Setting a Security Password” on page 125
).
4. Click
Browse
to select the upgrade file that you previously downloaded
from the VCON website.
5. Click
Start
.
6. When the upgrade installation finishes, the HD3000 restarts.
7. When the HD3000 is ready again, verify that the new version was
installed correctly. Press <Menu>. The main Menu appears. Select
Versions
.
8. Check that the
Software Version
matches the downloaded filename.
CAUTION
The entire procedure takes several minutes. During the
upgrade, the remote PC will not respond to other programs. Do
not
restart HD3000 until the upgrade process is complete!
