Other Call Answering Options
In addition to basic manual and automatic answering, HD3000 provides additional
options for answering incoming calls.
Point to Point
Point-to-point conferences are calls between two end points.
Auto Reject
Select to automatically reject all incoming point-to-
point calls (
Do-not-disturb
).
Auto + Mute
Mic.
Select to automatically accept point-to-point incoming
calls but to mute the outgoing audio at the beginning of
the conference. After the conference begins, you may
turn the audio back on.
Multipoint
Multipoint conferences include more than two end points. They are managed
by the HD3000’s embedded MCU.
Auto Reject
Select to automatically reject all incoming multipoint
calls, if the system is already engaged in another call.
Manual Answer
Select to answer multipoint calls by manually accepting
an incoming call request.
Auto Answer
Select to answer multipoint calls automatically.
Auto Accept
Multicast Floor
During interactive multicast conferences, the
Floor
(one
user’s video and audio being broadcast to all
participants at the same time) may be granted to you by
the conference’s organizer (
Chair
).
Select this option to automatically accept the floor when
it’s granted to you.
