7.5.5
Tabs
The remainder of the GUI window contains tabs that divide the remaining configuration data into logical
groups. Each tab will be discussed in sequence.
7.5.5.1
Summary Tab
The “Summary” tab (shown below) gives a broad view of the JSD-100MA and its installation. The Theater
Information fields may be changed as needed. The other sections of this screen cannot be changed through
the summary tab.
7.5.5.1.1
Theater Information
The data in the theater information fields is not used by the JSD-100MA, but is stored in the JSD-100MA for the
convenience of the user. Fill in the desired information. This data will be saved with other configuration
information in the JSD-100MA and displayed the next time the unit is connected to.
7.5.5.1.2
Component Information
Various pieces of information about the JSD-100MA are shown here. The Output Module field shows the type
of output module (Analog 8, Analog 16, or AES32). The PIC firmware version identifies the firmware version in
two of the microcontrollers and the circuit board revision of the main circuit board. In the sample screen
above, the first “F” indicates this is main board Revision F. The 160610 is the main processor firmware revision.
The next series of revision identifications are board revision A and firmware version 110829 for the rear panel
(output module) assembly. This tab also shows the versions of the firmware for each of the two digital signal
processors and the version for the GUI software itself. Each of these version numbers can be compared with
later updates to determine if the latest firmware is already installed.
7.5.5.1.3
Network Information
This is the network information that was set with the JSD-100MA Set IP Utility, discussed Section 7.4.
7.5.5.2
Formats Tab
The “Formats” tab contains the settings that are applicable for the selected format. For each format the
setting types are presented to the user for JSD-100MA unit configuration. For instance only two channel
analog sources, such as non-sync will have an input trim control. And all formats will have a preset type and
level settings.
