For convenience, all connector pin outs are located in this appendix.
DB25F AES Input.
The JSD-100MA uses an industry standard pin out for the multi-channel AES digital audio input. Cable should
be twisted pairs with individual shields and 110 ohm characteristic impedance. The USL supplied ferrite block
should be clipped on to the cable adjacent to the connector to comply with FCC and CE emission requirements.

RJ-45 AES Input
The JSD-100MA uses the StudioHub pin out for AES over CAT5 or CAT6
Ethernet cable. These cables are twisted pair and have the required
characteristic impedance. The USL supplied ferrite block should be
clipped on to the cables adjacent to the connectors to comply with FCC
and CE emission requirements. The top RJ-45 connector connects to
audio channels 1 through 8. The bottom RJ-45 connector connects to
audio channels 9 through 16 are routed to DI-80 module.
