4.20.6 GSM field test
In order to check GSM signal level follow the instructions below:
1. Enter on the keypad the Master code or the Installer code and press
OK
key.
2. Press
MENU
key.
3. Press

key until “TEST” appears on the display.
4. Press
OK
key to confirm.
5. Press
▼
key until “ADVANCED” appears on the display.
6. Press
OK
key.
7. Press
▼
key until “GSM FIELD TEST” appears on the display. Confirm with
OK
key.
8. Appears an indication of GSM signal level represented by dark squares.
9. Press
ESC
key repeatedly to exit from the menu.
Warning
: In order to test the GSM must have enabled the function “GSM answer
machine” (see § 4.14.18).
4.20.7 Radio devices test
The flowchart below shows the flow of the tests that can be run on radio devices.
As concerns input device tests, no difference is made between wired devices and radio devices (see § 4.20.1).
All devices are grouped into two different menus which indicate the properly operating inputs with respect to the failing
ones: it will be up to the installer / maintenance operator to indicate radio devices with respect to wired devices by
means of proper name or via logic address.
Tests for output radio devices have been distinguished from the tests for wired devices by means of an appropriate
menu: after selecting the radio expansion, the command will arm or disarm the siren(s) connected.
Similarly to the basic concepts of the output device test, an appropriate advanced menu allows to monitor the signal
level reached by each device, in order to evaluate its operation and proper positioning with respect to the control panel.
In order to give simpler and friendly the interpretation of the diagram, the menu has been shown as effectively appear on
the keypad display. The navigation and confirm keys has been physically represented in order to guide the installer step
by step in the testing.

function available with 1067 control panel and 1067/021 keypads, software version 3.00 or higher and with an
1067/010 radio expansion.
