URC’s DMS-AV (TSP-2000) provides state-of-the-art performance to every aspect of a home theater. It provides
eleven audio & video inputs, as well as a Phono Input (MM), including five HDMI Inputs and seven 125-watt
amplifier channels. It provides seven channels of surround (assign two channels to either the Front Height or
Surround Back); video scaling of all inputs (up to 1080p, selectable by source) and customizable video
processing that can help improve low-quality or highly-compressed signals. Dolby Digital, DTS, and URC’s
proprietary multichannel stereo and surround modes are all enhanced by automated room calibration, which
optimizes the performance of the connected loudspeakers via real time analysis using the included
omnidirectional microphone. The results of this extraordinarily precise calibration is astonishing to anyone
who has listened to the same speakers via other amplifiers, a new naturalness and a smooth, effortless quality
to dynamics without a trace of stridence or harshness.
