7.8. Preparation to the road transportation
The TWISTER wrapping machine controller is provided
with the function of the automatic machine setting for
transportation on public roads. Manual section dedicated
to operating the controller describes this function in de-
tails. After it is activated the machine should set:
1. the rotating arms in the transport position,
2. the table in the horizontal position,
3. the loader in the upper position,
4. the draught bar in the transport position.
Duty of the machine operator include: assembly of the bale setter, removal of rolls with foil off
the feeders and checking of the light connection.
It is forbidden to transport bales on the wrapping machine driving public
roads!!!
8. HANDLING AND OPERATION OF TWISTER WRAPPER
8.1. Operating modes
TWISTER is fully automatic machine. It is operated with electronic controller and program
responsible for correct operation. Controller allows to select one of the following operating modes:

Fully automatic
– role of machine user is limited only to appropriate approaching the bale
the wrapping machine and the complete process from loading through wrapping up to un-
loading is automatic,

Semi-automatic
– in this mode, the user has a possibility of sequential activation of
individual functions. Selected function is activated by pressing a button which is executed
automatically later on,

Manual
– user must hold the button for selected function to be carried on. In that mode,
the signals from the sensors are not interpreted by the program.
