5.3. TWISTER machine functions

During operation, the bale wrapping machine is pulled in parallel to the tractor
s’ track at the
back right-hand (RH) side.

After driving up the bale, the sensor engage loading action, the loader lifts up the bale onto the
table and returns to its bottom position.

The table sets itself horizontally.

The rotating arms start to rotate slowly wrapping the bale with pre-stressed foil, unwinded from
the foil feeders.

The foil is released from the knife mechanism after one full turn.

The rotating arms accelerate while wrapping the bale.

The arms decelerate and the knives open-up after wrapping last layer.

Arms stop when reach its starting position and the knives close to cut the foil holding it at the
same time.

The table tilts backward enabling to unload the bale and it returns to the loading position.

The wrapping machine is ready for loading the next bale.
