Input signals are shown in figure below: data width is 8 bits, data bit is 0*55, and stop bit is 1 bit, even parity. The trigger condition is: data,
negative polarity, the bit sequence is LSB, the baud rate is 115200bps.
The bus settings are: Bus is open, the display format is ASCII, event list open.
As can be seen, the trigger position is the position of data 0*55 collected by oscilloscope (the corresponding ASCII is U). The decoding data
displays “UNI-T”. The event list displays the capture data near trigger point, its corresponding capture time, and parity value. The capture
data 1 is 0*49=0100_1001. The parity bit should be 1 when even parity is used. This time capture parity value is 1. Therefore, the parity is
correct. Data 5 to 13 displays error because of parity error. The decoding data “UNI-T” displays red. Because the collected data is large, the
oscilloscope classifies the collected data to 17 pages time. At present, page 1 of 17 is displayed. You can use the above functions to observe
more decoding data.
3.15 I2C Protocol Trigger and Decode (Optional)
I2C protocol is usually used to connect microcontroller and its peripheral equipment, a widely used protocol in the field of microelectronics
communication control. The bus protocol uses two wires to transmit. One is serial data cable SDA, the other is serial clock cable. The
HOST-SLAVE mechanism is adopted, which is a 2-way communication between host and slave. The bus is multi-host which prevents data
destruction through collision and arbitration mechanism detection. It's remarkable that I2C bus has two kinds of address width: 7 bits and
10 bits. The two are compatible and can be combined. Both SCL and SDA are connected to power through pull-up resistors. When the bus is
vacant, the two cables are at high level. When any component of bus outputs low level, the bus signals will become low. That is to say, the
signals of multi-components are wired AND logic. The special logic relationship is the key point to allow bus arbitration. The protocol
requires that data SDA should kept stable when clock cable SCL is high. Normally, the data is transmitted by MSB.
