It is possible to manage both terrestrial and satellite programs. For each type, both
analogue and digital

transmissions can be handled. In order to create a program, all of its
characteristic parameters must be properly configured. Certain parameters require numeric
values to be inserted into the relative text fields, while others require of one of the available
drop down menu options to be selected (see figure 3). By positioning the mouse cursor over
a field or menu, a brief hint will be displayed indicating the purpose of the parameter in
question. Some of the parameter fields are mandatory, while others are optional. If the user
should attempt to save a program configuration without having set all of the mandatory
parameters, an error message will be displayed.
12.3.
Data Logger Setup
This section allows for the creation, management, digital storage and transmission of
various Data Logger program groups to the instrument. Each plan, identified with a name,
can contain up to a maximum of 50 programs.
