3.3 _USING ROON
3.3.1 _GETTING STARTED WITH ROON
Roon transforms the experience of browsing music. Artist photos, credits, bios, reviews,
lyrics, tour dates, and composers are located automatically, then interconnected by links to
build a surfable, searchable digital magazine about your music collection.
Roon also finds all the same links between your personal files and the millions of tracks available on Tidal
and Qobuz.
You can start with the music you know, then explore and discover new music from the world beyond your collection.
Roon is an incredibly rich and engaging way to browse and organize your music. It runs on most Mac, Windows, Linux or
on other products which include Roon Core.
Being Roon Ready means that Trinnov Audio’s network players transparently discover and connect to Roon Application
without any configuration and bit-perfect audio is delivered from Roon to your network player. It also allows us to employ
the high-quality clocks built into your Trinnov products rather than depending on inferior, external clocks that can
compromise the ultimate sound quality.

highest reliability and highest performance available.
3.3.2 _IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATION
To use your Altitude

with Roon in the safest way, we strongly recommend that you define
a maximum volume that will prevent s20dB in your speakers.
To do so, please click on “Info” on the left button of the main screen of the Altitude.
Then go to Startup.
