The Video Tab is divided into 3 sub-tabs:
• a video input tab used to display information from the incoming signal from the currently selected HDMI source/input.
2 video outputs tabs, one for each HDMI output connector
For both you will find video information:
• Timing : Input timing format status
• Color Depth : Input Color Depth Status
• Color Space : Useful when there is a bad color problem
• Color Space DTL : More details on color space
• Video Mode : Input Video Mode Status
• Copy protect : Copy protection status (for video output)
• Repetition : This status provides information to the host for the pixel repetition of the input video stream.
• Horizontal res / vertical res / interlaced / Frame rate : Actual numbers for input timing format status.
HDCP type
• HDR EOTF : HDR status
• HDR META DESC : Video high dynamic range status
• SYNC : When Sync statu sis detected, then the other input status are likely valid.
Source Type
• Video 3D Struct : Video 3D structure status
• State : State Status (video output)
• Detect : Sink Detect Status (video output)
• Fields about copy protection
The Video input also has information on the HDR status (note: HDR10 is equivalent to SMPTE2084, and DV is Dolby Vision).
Note that the color depth fields reported in the video outputs are indicating the display’s capabilities, not the current mode
used (please refer to the video input section for that info).
