2. Auto Add
This function allows the NVR system to automatically re-search and add
the newly found IP cameras to the NVR. When this function is enabled,
Auto Refresh function will simultaneously be enabled.
Check the
“
Auto Add
”
box, and Auto Add function will be enabled. Next,
set the Auto Refresh time interval.
Note that if the NVR has already added 24 IP cameras, the NVR will not
add any newly found IP cameras.
3. Auto Refresh
Check this box and the NVR system will automatically refresh the Device
List by every
N
seconds. The time duration
“
N
”
ranges from 30 to 120
seconds.
4. Re-scan Device
Click on the icon; the NVR will begin searching the IP cameras installed in
the same LAN as the NVR that meet the searching criteria in the Device
List.
5. Device Filter
Device Filter is for users to select the type of the IP camera models to be
searched during device search.
6. Clear All Device
Click on <Clear All Device> at the bottom-right corner of the monitor, and
the NVR will disconnect all connected IP cameras, excluding the IP
cameras that are connected via PoE ports.
7. Manually Add
Aside from device search, users can manually add an IP camera to the
NVR. Click on <Manually Add>; a blank new device column will be added
to the Device List. Input the essential information of a known IP camera to
the corresponding fields, including <Type>, <IP Address>, <Protocol>,
<Streaming Port>, <User Name> and <Password>. Then, check the
“
Device add to view
”
box, and the NVR will start to connect the IP camera.
To delete the manually added IP cameras, click on the delete icon < >,
and the IP camera will be removed from the Device List.
