4.3
Network Setup
The Network setup menu allows users to specify the network-related settings,
such as IP address and Subnet mask, etc. Check with the network
administrator and/or network service provider for more specific information.
4.3.1
Ethernet Setup
Under this setup menu, users can select the network service type, including
<PPPoE> and <LAN>. If users are using a broadband medium, such as DSL
Line or cable modem, please complete the PPPoE setting. If users are to use
a wired local area network communication, please complete the LAN setting
(IPv4).
Interface
Select <WAN( eth0)> to enter WAN configuration menu. Select <PoE( eth1)>
to enter PoE menu. Select <LAN (eth2)> to enter LAN configuration menu.
MAC Address
This item shows the MAC address of the selected interface.
PPPoE Setup
To setup the PPPoE setting, first check the
“
Enable PPPoE
”
box. Then, input
the login username and its corresponding password to the Account and
Password entry fields. Lastly, click on <Restart> next to <Enable PPPoE> to
apply the setting. At last, click on <Apply> to save the configuration.
