NOTE:
Formats for Enhanced IDE and Standard IDE are different. If
you change the setting, you will have to reformat the hard disk for the
appropriate setting.
5. PCI Bus
Displays the interrupt level for the PCI bus. This option is for information
only and cannot be changed.
NOTE:
The PCI bus on the Desk Station V is assigned an IRQ level in
the priority of 11, 10, 9, 7, 5, 4, and 3. If all the above IRQ levels are
assigned, you can physically connect the computer to the Desk Station V,
however, a beep will sound and the “Desk Station is attached” message
will not display.
6. I/O ports
This option controls settings for the serial and parallel ports and the sound
system. It also controls the setting for the joystick on the optional Desk
Station V.

Sets the COM level for the serial port. The serial port interrupt request
level (IRQ) and I/O port base address for each COM level is shown
below:
