(3) Description of operation
(a) When REQ is TRUE, the DN611 specified by CH, UNIT, and SLOT executes
reset operation.
If CLR_SL is "1," the scan list is also cleared.
(b) After completion of initialize request processing, DONE is turned TRUE.
(c) If initialize request processing is not completed in 10 seconds or more due to an
error or the like, ERR and DONE are turned TRUE.
(d) Completion status is output to STATUS.
(e) If REQ is FALSE, both DONE and ERR turn FALSE.
(f) When this function block is started (when REQ is turned TRUE), keep REQ
TRUE till DONE becomes TRUE.
(4) Execution time
The time for station status to change from 4000H to 2000H/2040H after REQ is
turned TRUE by the S controller
• Scan list is present in the non-volatile memory:
Scan list not cleared...Approx. 1 second
Scan list cleared ... Approx. 9 seconds
• No scan list is present in the non-volatile memory:
Scan list not cleared... Approx. 9 seconds
Scan list cleared... Approx. 9 seconds
(5) Others
• The 7-segment LED remains off during initialize processing after a reset request
is accepted.
• Startup time is about 9 seconds after switching power on when there is no scan
list in the non-volatile memory.
Caution
1. Neither issue any request from the S controller to the DN611 nor execute data input/output
while the DN611 is being reset.
Otherwise, the request will end in an error (station mode abnormal error), or the module self-
check will end in an error, turning the DN611 into down mode.
