WARNING
CAUTION
6. Precautions During Parts Replacement
Turn off power of the equipment before
replacing the power fuse or warning fuse.
Otherwise, it can cause electrical shock or fire.
Mandatory
The contact relay used for relay output has a
service life depending on the wear of the
contact. Check the contact life specified in the
manual, and do not use it beyond the specified
life. If it is found beyond the service life,
replace it with a new once.
A relay contact beyond its service life can
develop an output error due to faulty contact,
possibly resulting in mechanical breakdown or
accidents.
Mandatory
Replace the battery every four years if the
average annual temperature is 30
o
C or less,
or every two years if it is over 30
o
C. Battery
life varies from one application to another, and
a consumed battery could cause loss of data
and programs saved in the S2, possibly
resulting in mechanical breakdown or
accidents due to malfunction.
Mandatory
Replace the fuses and batteries with the
specified ones. Use of other than the specified
parts could cause a fire and failure.
Mandatory
1. A parameter setting request (from a slave
device) sets slave device parameters in the
non-volatile memory of the DN611. Unless
the slave device configuration is changed, it
is not necessary to execute this request
each time power is switched on.
If the requested slave device parameters
are identical with those in the non-volatile
memory, no parameter setting processing
will take place.
2. To change the slave device configuration,
delete the slave device parameters in the
non-volatile memory, and set new slave
device parameters.
3. Slave device parameters can be set in the
non-volatile memory of the DN611 up to 300
times.
