Checking the Tire Pressure
Service Interval:
Every 50 hours
Check the tire pressure every 50 hours (Figure 131).
Maintain the air pressure in the tires at 35 psi . Uneven
tire pressure can cause lose of traction. If a lose of
traction occurs, tire pressure may be increased to 50 psi
to increase track tension. Check the tires when they are
cold to get the most accurate pressure reading.

Removing the Rear Wheel
1. Raise the rear of machine until the track is about 1"
off the floor and support it with jack stands.
2. Remove the two screws securing each side access
cover and remove the covers (Figure 132).

3. Loosen and remove the locknut and flat washer from
the bogie pivot weldment (Figure 133).

4. Raise the front of the machine enough to relieve
track tension and to allow the removal of the rear tire.
Support the front of the machine with jack stands.
5. Remove the lug nuts and carefully remove the wheel
and tire.
6. Lower the floor jack until the front wheels support
the frame. Install the flat washers (1/2 inch) and
locknuts on the bogie pivot stud (Figure 133). and
torque to 75 ft-lb (102 N
⋅
m).
