Preparing the Engine Cooling
System
Parts needed for this procedure:

Procedure
1. To gain access to the heater supply hoses, remove the
screws securing the rear of the side panels and the
back panel to the cab assembly and remove the back
panel (Figure 10). Do not remove the side panels.
Note:
The cab assembly comes supplied with
additional hose length. This hose will be cut to
length later.

2. On the left rear corner of the cab assembly, locate
the label on the hose marked “Pressure” (Figure 10).
3. Measure down 17 inches (43.1 cm) from where the
hose exits the frame, mark the hose and cut the hose
at this location (Figure 11).

4. On the other end of the hose, measure down 20
inches (50.8 cm) from where the hose exits the
frame, mark the hose and cut the hose at this location
(Figure 11). This will be the return hose.
5. Insert the barb end of a nipple coupler into the
pressure hose and secure with a hose clamp
(Figure 12).
