6.2 Install the CMe 2
®
Software
The CME 2
®
software is available on the Tolomatic CD-ROM that shipped with the
ICR Plus actuator. It is also available on the Tolomatic web site.

6.2.1 Web download Install
1. Choose or create a folder location to download the software installation file.
2. Navigate to http://www.tolomatic.com/resources/index.cfm.
3. Make these selections; Click on product line:
Electric Linear Motion
; then click
on resource tab:
Software
.
4. Choose the
ICR Plus SmartActuator Setup Software v6.0
link.
5. Click and save the
Installer.zip
file to the selected folder.
6. Extract the contents of the .zip file to the same location. The folder should
contain the
Setup.exe
file. Run the setup.exe file.
6.2.2 Cd-ROM Install
1. Insert the Tolomatic CD-ROM supplied with the ICR Plus actuator. Inserting the
CD will cause the installation script to launch and a CME 2
®
installation screen
appears. If not, navigate to the root directory and double-click on the
Setup.exe
file.
2. Respond to the prompts on the CME 2
®
installation screens to complete the
installation. It is recommended to accept all the default installation values.
If using Windows
®
Vista, reference the installation notes on page 6-1.
6.3 Start the CMe 2

6.3.1 Initial Communication Setup
1. Double-click the CME 2
®
shortcut icon on the Windows
®
desktop to start the
program.
