4.4.6. Changing IP Addresses
Device IP addresses can be changed.
Important
Once the address has been changed, only the new address can be used to access the device thereafter.
Note: The IP pool must be defined before the IP address is automatically assigned.
1. Click the "List" button in the toolbar to display the list.
2. Move the mouse pointer to the device which is to have its IP address changed, and right-click to display the
menu.
3. Select "Change IP Address" from the menu.
The "Change IP Address" window is displayed.
3-1. To automatically assign the IP address, click the option "Obtain automatically from IP Pool." An unused IP
address is assigned to each device from the address range defined in the IP pool in order of lower
value.
3-2. To manually set the IP address, click the option "Set manually."
The IP address is selected from the list and set.
3-3. To edit the IP pool, click the "IP Pool" button.
The "IP Pool" window is opened, permitting the IP pool to be edited.
4. Click the "OK" button to close the window.
The new IP address is transmitted to the device and the updated IP address is displayed in the list.
