2. Confirm the IP address range to be deleted, and click the "Delete" button.
The selected IP address range is then deleted from the IP pool.
Note: Create a backup copy of the setting file periodically. Backing up the file eliminates the necessity of
manually restoring all settings from the beginning if the PC should crash.
4.4.3. Assigning the IP Address to the Device
• The IP pool must first be defined in order to assign unique IP addresses to the video networking devices on
the network.
• The use of the automatic IP address assignment function is convenient when many devices are connected
to the network.
• The use of the automatic IP address assignment function also helps avoid IP address duplication, wrong
assignment of non-existent IP addresses, and other setting errors.
• Addresses to be assigned are selected from the IP pool.
• The automatic IP address assignment function can be used for all or part of the video networking devices.
Using this function, unique IP addresses can also be assigned to newly connected devices that remain
unchanged from the factory-preset settings.
• Device IP addresses can also be changed individually for each device.
Important
After an IP address is changed, access to the corresponding device is only possible with the new IP address.
Take care that the IP address to be used does not duplicate that of the PC, other equipment, or other currently
disabled video networking devices.
1. Select "Configure"
"Unique IP Address." The "Set Unique IP Addresses from IP Pool" window is
displayed.
2. When wishing to assign a new IP address to a video networking device that does not have a unique IP
address, click the option "All device with IP Addresses that are not unique."
Unused IP addresses are assigned to each device from the address range defined in the IP pool in order of
lower value.
3. When wishing to assign a new IP address to a video networking device with a confirmed IP address, click
the option "All Device with IP Address."
Unused IP addresses are assigned to each device from the address range defined in the IP pool in order of
lower value.
4. To edit the IP pool, click the "IP Pool" button. The "IP Pool" window is displayed, permitting editing.
5. Click the "OK" button to close the window. The changed IP address is transmitted to the device, and the
new IP address is displayed in the list.
