CHAPTER 3. Performing Settings with Internet Explorer
Bright Level
Set the bright level by either dragging the slide bar with the mouse or by clicking the Left
or the Right
keys located on the ends of the slide bar.
Wide Dynamic Range (WDR)
The wide dynamic function corrects images so that the subject is not displayed in black and the screen
background not displayed in white in backlit situations. Set the option to "OFF," "Normal," or "Manual."
Normal :The wide dynamic function operates only when the camera detects a backlit condition.
Manual :Fine settings can be performed to suite installation conditions. Click the "Area Setting" button,
and perform the setting on the "WDR Area Setting" screen.
Note: Selection of "Manual Iris Lens" in "Lens Select" sets the wide dynamic function to OFF. To use this
function, an auto-iris lens (DC type) must be mounted to the camera.
[WDR Area Setting Screen]
In the "WDR Area Setting Screen," the screen is split into 12 segments. Designated areas of the image can be
masked for WDR control through the individual selection of these segments.
