3.5.3. FTP
JPEG format images can be saved to an FTP server at predetermined time intervals. In this event, the size of
the JPEG image can be selected in JPEG Size.

Enter the IP address of the FTP server to which images will be saved.
Login Name
Enter the login name of the FTP server.
Password
Enter a password for the login name used to access the FTP server.
Path
Enter the correct folder path for saving images to the FTP server.
JPEG Size
Select the size of the JPEG images transmitted to the FTP server:
S
: 176 x 120 (NTSC), 176 x 144 (PAL)
M
: 352 x 240 (NTSC), 352 x 288 (PAL)
L

XL

Post time slice
Enter the time interval at which single images are transmitted. Enter "0" when transmitting no images. The set
interval is not always maintained, as the interval range varies depending upon JPEG image size.
File name
Filenames used to save transmitted images can be assigned.
Overwrite:
The same filename is always used. Currently saved files are continuously overwritten with new files.
Increment:
The numbers "000" to "255" are used for the filenames. The number automatically increases by 1 every time a
new file is created. When "255" is reached, the filename number begins again with "000".
Date/Time Suffix:
Filenames are automatically created from the current date and time. When using the date and time as a
filename, ensure that the device’s date and time settings are accurate.
[Example] The filename "120401_114530.jpg" was saved on 12th April, 2001 at 11:45 and 30 seconds.
3.5.4. E-mail
SMTP Server Address
Enter the corresponding IP address for using the email function.
Transmitted emails are sent to the mail server via the entered address.
If no address is entered, the field is left blank (0.0.0.0).
