CHAPTER 3. Performing Settings with Internet Explorer
3.5.1. IP
IP Address
Enter the desired device IP address. The IP address must be valid for the network.
Note: If the IP address is changed and the new setting is transmitted to the device, the device can only be
accessed by way of the new address.
Subnet Mask
Enter the corresponding subnet mask if the device is to communicate via a subnet.
Default Gateway
Enter the corresponding IP port number if the device is to be connected independently from the local area
network. If not entered, the field can be left blank (0.0.0.0).
DHCP
When a DHCP server is used by the network, the IP address and subnet mask can be assigned by the DHCP
server. Select "ON" to use this function, and "OFF" when not using a DHCP server.
Base Port
It is possible to change the base address for the UDP channels used for data transmission.
Note: Avoid changing this port in normal use.
3.5.2. Multicast
Note: Multicast operation requires a multicast-compatible network using the UDP protocol and the IGMP
protocol.
Multicast IP
Set a dedicated IP address (Class D) for the multicast mode in a multicast-compatible network.
The network must support the establishment of a group IP address and the Internet Group Management
Protocol (IGMP). The effective address range is: 224.0.1.0 to 239.255.255.255.
Note: Consult the local network administrator when performing this setting.
