CHAPTER 3. Performing Settings with Internet Explorer
3.8.2. Alarm Action
Display Stamping
Sets whether to display the alarm message on the screen during alarm operation.
On (Hold)
: Once an alarm is triggered, the alarm message remains displayed on the screen until OFF is
selected.
On
: Alarm messages are displayed on the screen in the event of an alarm.
Off
: Alarm messages are not displayed.
Auto Connect
On
: Video images are always displayed regardless of alarm activation.
On alarm
: Video images are displayed in the event of an alarm.
Off
: Select when not using the automatic connection.
Receiver IP Address
Enter the IP address to which a connection will be automatically established in the event of an alarm. When
connecting to the software decoder, enter the PC’s IP address.
Receiver Password
Enter the password if a password has been set for the device to be automatically connected.
Alarm E-mail
Select On when transmitting an alarm email in the event of an alarm, and Off when not transmitting.
Note: Alarm emails are not always transmitted whenever an alarm occurs. When alarms frequently occur, a
measure of time interval may be produced in email transmission.
E-mail Layout
Formats for sending an alarm email in the event of an alarm can be selected.
JPEG image
: Emails with an attached JPEG image (NTSC:352 x 240, PAL:352 x 288).

Text Only
: Text-only emails (up to 160 alphanumeric characters). (Refer to the following page.)
Note: When transmitting an email to a mobile phone, select "Text Only." It is necessary to ensure that its
email function is enabled to receive messages.
