Setting section
thickness and
trimming thickness
Basic status of the operating control:
• To choose between section thickness and trimming thickness, press
button (fig. 16.4).
• e selected setting is shown inverted on the display (fig. 15).
• en enter the desired section or trimming thickness via button up
(fig. 16.5) or down (fig. 16.6).
• e altered values are shown on the display.

e graduation of the section thicknesses (which can be pre-selected) is
divided into 5 ranges:
ꢀange
ꢂraduation
from 1 µm to 10 µm
1 µm
from 10 µm to 20 µm
2 µm
from 20 µm to 70 µm
5 µm
from 70 µm to 100 µm
10 µm
