special notices appear in boxes; those concerning safety or possible system damage also have
corresponding caution symbols.
This guide uses the following types of cautions and special notices.
Special Precautions for the PDA Detector
The PDA detector contains a LightPipe flow cell that you can easily damage if you handle it
by its ends. Do
not
to touch the fiber optics that are exposed at the ends of the flow cell. See
the following figure.
CAUTION
