Replacing the Lamps

10. To remove the tungsten (W) lamp:

a. Gently pull its connector free from the contact pins on the lamp power supply board. 

The connector for the tungsten lamp has two leads (see 

Figure 81

).

b. Loosen and remove the single Phillips head screw that secures the lamp-mounting 

block (see 

Figure 82

).

To install a lamp, perform the preceding removal procedure in reverse order.

IMPORTANT  

Remember to reset the elapsed lamp hours after replacing a lamp (see 

“Controlling the Lamps with Xcalibur” 

on 

page 54

).
