13.1 Digital I/O (Pin Assignment)
The two digital I/O ports provide two digital inputs and two relay outputs that can be used
to exchange digital signals with external devices.

To connect an external device to a digital I/O port, use the appropriate mini-DIN cable (part
no. 6000.1004). The table lists the functions assigned to the connector pins and the color and
label of the cable wire connected to each pin (ignore the information on the cable label).

Important: The maximum switching voltage of the relays is 24 V. The switching
current must not exceed 100 mA.
The maximum input voltage at the input must not 5 V with
reference to ground. The minimum input voltage must not be lower
than the ground potential.

COM is the common contact for NO and NC. If
the relay is not activated or if the pump is turned
off, the connection is between COM and NC. If
the relay is activated, the connection is between
