Dionex AS-DV Operator’s Manual

4. Insert a 2.5-mm Allen wrench into

the screw on top of the sampling
mechanism (see

Figure 5-11

) and

turn the wrench clockwise. The
needle begins moving up.

5. Continue turning the wrench until

the top of the sampling head is
even with the top of the sampling
mechanism.

6. If you are clearing a needle jam,

remove the obstruction from the
carousel.

7. Turn the wrench counterclockwise

to begin lowering the needle. Turn
the wrench until the top of the
sampling head is about 6 mm
(1/4 in) below the top of the
