7. Grasp the front of the valve pod and pull out firmly to remove it.
8. Align the slots in the new pod (6-port, P/N 075971; 10-port, P/N 075972)
with the runner in the valve holder. Valve pods are keyed to fit only one way
(one slot is narrower than the other). Verify that the slots are aligned with their
matching runners.
9. Also verify that the two splines on the pod align with the matching splines
inside the valve holder (see
). If necessary, twist the end of the pod
to adjust the position of the splines.
10. Push the pod into the holder until it clicks into place. Replace the black
locking ring.
11. Reinstall the valve assembly and reconnect all liquid lines.
12. Turn on the power to the Dionex AS-DV.
13. Start a test run to check for leaks from the valve. Tighten fittings as required.
14. Reinstall the front cover and close the top cover.
