Thermo Scientific APEX User’s Guide

Keying In the In-Feed Photo-Eye Distance

The in-feed photo-eye-to-detector distance must be set for the IXR function to work
properly. To set the in-feed photo-eye distance, do the following.

1)

Take a tape measure and note the distance from the photo-eye (on the upstream or
“in-feed” side of the detector) to the in-feed side of the detector’s search head.

2)

Make sure the Main Menu is displayed.

Navigate to the system and tools menu.
