boilers incorporate a CH system fill
cock.
b
Make sure that the system filling cock (3) is closed
before you start to fill or drain the system.
FILLING THE STORAGE CYLINDER
- Make sure that the storage cylinder drain cock (2) is
closed
- Open a DHW user tap.
- Open the DHW circuit shut-off cocks and slowly fill the
storage cylinder until clean, air-free water flows out from
the taps in a uniform manner.
FILLING THE CENTRAL HEATING SYSTEM
- Check that the mixing column drain cock (3), boiler
drain cock (4) and flow group drain cock (5) are all
closed.
- Open the non-return valves (6) to facilitate filling. See
the figure to ascertain the correct position for the dot
on the screw.
- Slacken off the cap of the automatic vent valves (7), (8)
and (9) to let air out of the system
- Slacken off the caps of the manual bleed valves (5) and
(6). Close the valves again as soon as water starts to
come out
- Open the CH system fill cock (1) and slowly fill the
system until the pressure gauge (11) reads out a value
between
1 and 1.2 bar
- Close the CH system fill cock (1). Tighten down the
caps on the manual vent valves (7), (8) and (9)
- Close the non-return valves (6). See the figure to ascer-
tain the correct position for the dot on the screw.

Bleed the central heating circuit thoroughly to
ensure that no air remains in it (see page 51).
b
The drain points on the solar circuit safety valves
must also be connected to a suitable collection and
drain system.
b
The manufacturer declines all responsibility for
damage caused by water escaping from the safety
