DCM-750 Configuration File Upload
NOTE:
It is necessary to have a microSD card loaded with the applicable DCM-750
configuration files to do the DCM-750 Configuration File Upload.
(1)
To load a microSD card with the applicable DCM-750 configuration files, do as follows:
(a)
Put a blank microSD card in a microSD to SD card adapter.
(b)
Put the microSD to SD card adapter in an SD card reader that is connected to Windows
PC computer.
(c)
Use a web browser to go to TXTAVSupport.com.

Get the applicable DCM-750 configuration files from the airplane model-specific
Maintenance Software section and follow the instructions to copy the files to the
microSD card.
(d)
Make sure that the microSD card contains the 6308652-2.bin file.
(2)
Make sure that the STBY DISPLAY switch is set to the OFF position.
(3)
Put the microSD card with the DCM-750 configuration files into the microSD card slot in the face
of the EFD-750 display.
(4)
Push and hold the knob on the EFD-750 display.
(5)
Set the STBY DISPLAY switch to the ON position.
(6)
When the normal display screen on the EFD-750 display is shown, release the knob.
(7)
Push the Menu button.
(8)
Turn the knob to highlight the System Install menu item.
(9)
Push the knob to select it.
(10) When the "Enter Maintenance Mode?" message is shown, push the knob again to confirm.
NOTE:
The EFD-750 display will reboot and enter Maintenance Mode.
(11) Turn the knob to highlight the Configuration Options menu item.
(12) Push the knob to select it.
NOTE:
The "Current" and "Update to" configuration options versions will show on the
screen.
(13) Make sure that the Update to CONFIG VER shows the new configuration file version.
(14) Push the knob to Confirm Load and Reset.
NOTE:
When the update is complete, the EFD-750 display will reboot and enter
Maintenance Mode.
(15) Turn the knob to highlight the System ID menu item.
(16) Push the knob to select it.
(17) On the System ID screen, make sure that the Version and the Aircraft values for the Aircraft
CONFIG File are as follows:
(a)
The Version value is the new configuration file version.
(b)
The Aircraft value is Model 525B.
(18) Cycle power to the EFD-750 while holding the rotary knob.
(19) Make sure that the ADEC option in the pilots menu shows a green check mark.
(20) Set the STBY DISPLAY switch to the OFF position.
(21) Remove the microSD card from the microSD card slot in the face of the EFD-750 display.
(a)
Keep the microSD card in a safe location for future use.
(22) Continue to EFD-750 Display Maintenance Mode Configuration in this section.

EFD-750 Display Maintenance Mode Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the STBY DISPLAY switch is set to the OFF position.
(2)
Push and hold the knob on the EFD-750 display.
(3)
Set the STBY DISPLAY switch to the ON position.
(4)
When the normal display screen on the EFD-750 display is shown, release the knob.
(5)
Push the Menu button.
(6)
Turn the knob to highlight the System Install menu item.
