CESSNA®
MODEL 525B
MAINTENANCE MANUAL
(12) Use the air data test set to set the altitude on the static ports to get an indication on the test set
of 31,420 feet, +40 or -40 feet (9579 m, +12.19 and 12.19 m) on the SFD.
(13) Put the air data tester in LEAK mode and make sure that within one minute:
(a)
The closed system altimeter indication on the air data test set does not decrease below
31,170 feet (9500 m) within one minute.
(b)
The closed system airspeed indication on the air data test set does not decrease below
245 knots within one minute.
(14) Return the static pressure to ambient pressure at a rate not to exceed 6000 ft/min.
(15) Increase pressure to the pitot systems to show on the PFD 1, PFD 2, and SFD airspeed displays
each of the airspeeds shown on Table 603 and Table 604 (Airplanes -0057 and -0451 thru -0609
that do not incorporate SB525B-34-40) or Table 605 (Airplanes -0610 and On and Airplanes
-0057 and -0451 thru -0609 that incorporate SB525B-34-40).
(a)
Errors must not exceed the tolerances shown on Table 603 and Table 604 (Airplanes -0057
and -0451 thru -0609 that do not incorporate SB525B-34-40) or Table 605 (Airplanes -0610
and On and Airplanes -0057 and -0451 thru -0609 that incorporate SB525B-34-40).
(b)
Make sure that the SFD altitude tape moves smoothly to the correct indication when the
altitude input is changed.
