MAINTENANCE MANUAL
CAUTION:
Make sure that the pitot-static anti-ice switch stays off during the
entire procedure.
(1)
Make sure that the PITOT STATIC HEAT 1 and PITOT STATIC HEAT 2 switches found on the
right switch panel are in the OFF position.
(2)
Make sure that the pitot and static systems are at ambient pressure.
(3)
Make sure that external electrical power is connected to the airplane.
(4)
On the pilot and copilot GCU 275 PFD Controller, push the BARO knob.
(a)
Make sure that the pilot and copilot PFDs show 29.92 inHg (101.3 kPa).
(5)
For airplanes with an ESI-1000 installed, push the STD button and make sure that the SFD
shows 29.92 inHg (101.3 kPa).
(6)
For airplanes with an EFD-750 installed, push the knob and make sure that the SFD shows STD.
(7)
Set the air data test set altitude to 11,000 feet.
(8)
Set the air data test set pilot and copilot pitot systems to maintain 100 to 300
knots during the test.
(9)
Adjust the BARO knob on the pilot and copilot GCU 275 and the SFD to each of the values
shown on Table 606, Barometric Display Calibration.
(a)
Make sure that the altitude shown on the pilot and copilot PFD is within the specified limits
on Table 606.

(10) Set the pilot, copilot and SFD to ambient pressure.
(11) If testing is complete configure the airplane to the pretest condition. Refer to Restore the

RAT/SATΔISA Display Test
A.
Do the RAT/SATΔISA Display test procedures.
(1)
Make sure the BATTERY switch is in the ON position.
(2)
Make sure that the RAT SAT and ΔISA are shown on the MFD EIS WINDOW.
(3)
Disengage both the LH FADEC circuit breakers HZ071 and HZ080 found on the aft power J-box.
(a)
Make sure that the RAT SAT and ΔISA are still shown on the MFD EIS window.
(4)
Disengage both the RH FADEC circuit breakers HZ069 and HZ078 found on the aft power J-box.
(a)
Make sure that the RAT SAT and ΔISA are each shown on the MFD EIS WINDOW with a
dash (amber).
(5)
Engage each of the FADEC circuit breakers.
(a)
Make sure that the RAT SAT and ΔISA are show on the MFD EIS window with no dashes
(amber).
(6)
If testing is complete configure the airplane to the pretest condition. Refer to Restore the
Airplane.
11.
Record the Test Data
A.
Record (placard) the date of the tests and the maximum altitude to which the standby altimeter-
airspeed indicator was tested on the SFD.
