ELECTRICAL LOAD ANALYSIS - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
Airplanes -0610 and On and Airplanes -0057 and -0451 thru -0609 that incorporate SB525B-34-40
1.
General
A.
This section provides the electrical load analysis for the Cessna Model 525B (Airplanes -0610 and On
and Airplanes -0057 and -0451 thru -0609 that incorporate SB525B-34-40).
B.
The electrical load analysis contains the electrical data for each appliance installed that causes an
electrical load to be put on the electrical system. This document shows the correlation between the
equipment, circuit breaker and allowable amp load for that item. Each table represents an electrical
bus and identifies the circuit breaker and its attached equipment.
For more data on individual
appliance installations, refer to the Model 525B (-0057, -0135 and On) Wiring Diagram Manual.
2.
Description
A.
The electrical power for this airplane routes through a system of buses, current limiters, and relays. For
complete information about the electrical load distribution system, refer to Chapter 24, DC Electrical
Load Distribution - Description and Operation.
B.
The charging system was assumed to be regulated by 28.0 VDC +0.5 or -0.5 VDC.
C.
For load analysis purposes, the battery is de-rated at 90% of its capacity to represent a partially
charged battery and is de-rated at 80% of that capacity for deterioration due to use and age. Therefore
the battery capacity will be assessed at 72% of 44 amp-hour (31.68 amp-hour or 1900.8 total amp-
minutes). The battery system is used to start the engine and to provide power to the Emergency
Battery Bus in the event of a dual generator failure.
