Figure 12 describes the disassembly of the old shock-absorbing lanyard:
12.1 Loosen the stop nut with the
open-end wrenches.
12.2 Pull out the screw and
remove the shock-absorbing lan-
yard. Attention! The stop nut must
be completely replaced and must
not be reused.
12.3 Make the old shock-absorb-
ing lanyard unusable and dispose
of it properly!
Figure 13 describes the assembly of the new shock-absorbing lanyard:
Connect the new shock-absorbing lanyard to the fall arrester with the
screw as illustrated.
Tighten the new stop nut with the open-end wrenches and tighten to
the correct torque (11÷12 Nm).
