Figure 12 describes the disassembly of the old shock-absorbing lanyard:
12.1 Loosen the stop nut with the
open-end wrenches.
12.2 Pull out the screw and
remove the shock-absorbing lan-
yard. Attention! The stop nut must
be completely replaced and must
not be reused.
12.3 Make the old shock-absorb-
ing lanyard unusable and dispose
of it properly!
Figure 13 describes the assembly of the new shock-absorbing lanyard:
Connect the new shock-absorbing lanyard to the fall arrester with the
screw as illustrated.
Tighten the new stop nut with the open-end wrenches and tighten to
the correct torque (11÷12 Nm).
8. LIMITATIONS OF USE
Never carry out work with this product if, as a result of your physical and mental condition, your safety
might be compromised in scenarios of normal use or in emergencies!
It is not permitted to make any changes or amendments that are not expressly described in this man-
ufacturer’s information manual. Those may only be carried out by the manufacturer.
It is not permitted to use permanent marker pens or stickers to add individual labeling/marking direct-
ly to the textile components of these products, as the chemicals contained in such pens or stickers
can compromise the strength of these materials.
