3. SETUP OF THE WIRE ROPE SYSTEMS
The TEUFELBERGER SKC EVO system consists of a number of individual parts that can be assem-
bled to be used as a flexible or fixed guide, including a moving fall arrester, for central attachment to
ladders or on-site structures.
Attention! The TEUFELBERGER SKC EVO system should not be installed in aggressive atmospheres
or corrosive environments (e.g. above a chlorine pool), as these influences could have negative effects
on the system and operational safety cannot be guaranteed! If a case-by-case examination shows
that the environment is safe for the product, it can be installed and used.
The TEUFELBERGER SKC EVO line is available in 2 versions:
1. Stainless steel 1.4301 and V2A
2. Electrogalvanised steel
The stainless steel system is particularly suitable for outdoor use. The galvanised steel system should
not be constantly exposed to weather conditions.
Attention! It is essential to ensure that the components are not mixed! Use the stainless steel system
only with stainless steel components and the steel system only with galvanised steel components
(see Table 1)!
If components are mixed, contact corrosion may occur and parts may be damaged, resulting in sys-
tem failure!
